The Development Education Centre (South Yorkshire), DEC(SY), works with teachers and others involved in
education, promoting a development and global perspective in the curriculum.
Using active learning methods, based on enquiry into issues and ideas, DEC(SY) aims to help people to develop the skills and commitment to work together to bring about a more just world.

We have a new Resource Centre, opened in November 2003, where we have over 2500 items for sale, loan or reference.
