Aims of the course:

•   To provide an introduction to the aims, benefits and delivery of P4C in Primary Schools.

•   To give participants an opportunity to see P4C in practice in a SAPERE Silver Award school.

•   To give participants the opportunity to find out how a whole school approach to P4C can enrich and develop students, staff and communities.

‘Really opened my eyes to how fantastic a tool P4C is.’

‘Indepth and helpful guidance, which let me fully understand the concept.’

This course will be based at Wybourn Primary school and led by Helen Griffin, an experienced SAPERE P4C Level 2 trainer. Participants will spend the morning learning about P4C and whole school development themselves and the afternoon observing and reflecting on children participating in an enquiry (at Wybourn or Emmaus Primary, both P4C Silver Award school).
