An overview of DECSY’s activities in 2021, adapting to working within lockdown restrictions and supporting schools and others with learning materials and resources around pandemics and anti-racism following the raised profile of the Black Lives Matter movement.
A variety of funders supported us to continue or begin projects including:
– creating Gender Equality Charter Marks for schools across Europe and promoting Gender Action
– creating new Connecting Classrooms resources on Inequality and Racism, and Mental Health and Well-being
–¬†creating lesson plans and resources using examples of non-violent action
– continuing the Philosophy for Children After School Club and Community sessions
– schools linking projects
