Thinking Moves A-Z: Metacognition Made Simple, on-line course

This on-line course runs over three sessions

: Thursday 5th, 12th, 19th November 2020 (1.30pm – 3.30pm)

This foundation training course brings ‘this unique approach to inspiring children and young people to question, reflect and think deeply.’ Metacognition is a common vocabulary of thinking to use in enquiry and general learning. Effective metacognition and self-regulation:
– can accelerate progress by 7 months.           – helps lower achieving students catch up
– is best taught and learned collaboratively      – is a low-cost intervention
This training course will make reference to: ‘Thinking Moves A-Z Handbook’ (RRP: £10)
