The external evaluator
Karen Pine is Professor of Developmental Psychology at the University of Hertfordshire. She has a PhD in children's learning and her research into child development is internationally recognised (over 150 academic research articles in world-leading peer reviewed journals).

- analysis of usage statistics
- regular visits to the OWZ area
- analysis of content provided by the children

- Evidence of children thinking and understanding more about the wider world
- Evidence of children’s changing intention to act on issues of global concern
