Maths is a creative discipline, developed over millennia: essential in every day life, critical to technology, engineering, medicine and science, and a foundation for understanding our world. Explore the beauty, the patterns and the power of maths and how to encourage a sense of enjoyment, excitement, wonder and awe about the subject. Consider how the use of picture books and Philosophy for Children can help children of all ages engage with maths.
